Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Business Partner

Do you enjoy asking insightful questions, challenging assumptions, and exploring both financial and non-financial information to uncover meaningful insights? Reporting to the Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you’ll play a key role in delivering commercially focused financial insight and supporting performance management across the business. You’ll work closely with the Senior FP&A Business Partner, Regional Managing Directors and the Managing Directors of our divisions to help drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business and Senior FP&A Business Partner to develop and monitor performance against the Financial Plan and Forecast, including financial modelling, process design, and timetable creation.
- Identify key performance drivers and develop KPIs to track progress against strategic goals.
- Partner with the Mergers & Acquisitions team to support the delivery of financial synergies and uncover further opportunities where applicable.
- Produce insightful analysis to highlight risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to support business performance.
- Support new initiatives by developing and embedding business case tracking.
- Share accountability with senior leaders for sound commercial and financial decision-making.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring experience from a similar financial or analytical position and demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach.
You’ll also have:
- A finance-related qualification (AAT, ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or a relevant degree.
- Strong Excel and database analysis skills—essential for working with large and complex datasets
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of numeracy.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to integrity and professionalism in stakeholder interactions.
- A curious mindset and a willingness to challenge and innovate.
