Jonathan joined Jensten in 2021 and leads placement strategy and market management across the Group. 

Prior to Jensten, Jonathan was part of the leadership team of Pen Underwriting, the £600m GWP Gallagher-owned managing general agent, where he was Capacity Director responsible for capacity strategy and carrier management.

Having started his career as a Lloyd’s underwriter, Jonathan has spent the last 15+ years on the distribution side in strategic development focused roles. This includes a number of years running his own MGA business.

Jonathan is currently a Board Director at the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA), a role he has held since 2016.
