The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and client-focused Account Manager to join our thriving Commercial Business Unit in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the continued success of the region and contributing to Jenstens wider growth.
In this role, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional service, ensuring strong renewal retention, and identifying opportunities for new business. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the CBU team to deliver operational excellence, maintain strong insurer relationships, and ensure clients receive a seamless, professional experience.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
Manage and develop your own portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring high-quality service and proactive support.
Handle broking activity, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims queries.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the team’s growth targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and key stakeholders.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all client documentation and Acturis records.
Collaborate with the Operational Excellence and IBA teams to meet compliance standards and uphold best practice.
Produce reports and maintain accurate records to support customer and regulatory requirements.
About You:
You’ll be an experienced insurance professional with a solid background in commercial broking or account management. You thrive in a client-facing role, bring a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
You’ll also bring:
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with confidence engaging clients at all levels.
Strong commercial awareness and a customer-first approach.
Good understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
Experience working with Acturis (desirable).
A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a high-performing team.
