We’re on the lookout for a commercially minded and strategic Network Development Manager to join our growing team at Jensten. This is a home-based role with regular travel across the UK to meet with broker prospects and represent our network proposition. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our ambitious growth strategy across both the Coversure and Jensten Broker networks—spending the majority of your time building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting business planning with new prospects.
Alongside this, you’ll lead the onboarding journey for new network members, working cross-functionally to ensure a seamless transition into our network. This part of the role requires structure, discipline, and ideally some project management capability to keep everything moving on track.
Reporting to the Network Director and working closely with the Network Campaign Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and onboarding new broker partners—championing the most suitable proposition and ensuring a smooth and successful integration into our network.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive growth by developing and delivering a strong network strategy focused on new member acquisition
- Build and manage a data-enriched pipeline of broker prospects
- Engage, qualify, and prioritise leads, guiding them through the early planning and decision-making stages
- Leverage your commercial acumen to support business planning conversations with prospective members
- Clearly articulate the value of our network offerings, using case studies and testimonials
- Collaborate with Operations to manage the full onboarding journey
- Maintain excellent levels of engagement throughout the application process
- Keep abreast of industry trends and maintain a strong external presence
- Promote our proposition through events, campaigns, and internal collaboration
- Monitor and share onboarding performance insights to drive continuous improvement
About you
You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship-builder with a commercial mindset and strong organisational skills. You thrive on uncovering new opportunities, guiding businesses through strategic planning, and influencing outcomes. While you enjoy the front-end energy of building relationships, you’re equally comfortable managing the detail—bringing structure and discipline to onboarding new partners with a project-led mindset.
You’ll also be or have:
- A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Commercially astute with a solid understanding of broker models and insurance distribution
- Strategic thinker who can spot opportunity and influence decisions
- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or network expansion
- Highly organised with an eye for detail and a proactive approach
- Comfortable representing our brand at industry events and conferences
- General knowledge of the Insurance market and legislation requirements
- Business development, relationship management and client management experience
- A competent level of knowledge of Microsoft office
- Cert CII (ideally)
- Must have a current driving licence, own vehicle and be willing to travel nationwide
