Due to growth, One Broker (part of the Jensten Group) have an exciting opportunity as a New Business Handler to join our well-established Commercial Team in Cambridge.

While Jensten have recently celebrated becoming a company of 1000 employees, our Cambridge office is made up of a very friendly 40 + people. This opening sits within our successful and growing Commercial department dealing with a range of corporate risks.

Initially working full time in the office, a blend of office and home working will be available after training. Please note that we have free on-site parking.

Key objectives & responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical administration support for Account Executives as and when required in obtaining new business quotations and arranging cover - checking new policy documentation for accuracy and forwarding to clients or liaising with insurers

• Dealing with clients’ day to day enquiries on a daily basis, responding promptly and managing expectations

• Referring to relevant Account Executives over any technical queries

• Ensuring all Client records reflect the current risk on cover at all-time including accuracy of sums insured, perils, excesses, extensions and exclusions

• Attain cross sell / up-sell on policies

• Negotiating and inviting renewal of allocated client’s policies when required
