Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance professional looking for your next challenge? Join One Broker as an Account Executive in our successful and growing Charity Insurance team.
Working in the charity sector is incredibly rewarding. You’ll help protect organisations that make a real difference in society—supporting real-life superheroes every day: charities, not-for-profits, and voluntary groups that change lives.
In this role, you’ll manage an existing book of business while developing new opportunities. You’ll build strong relationships with clients in the charity sector and deliver exceptional service with tailored insurance solutions.
This position is ideal for current Account Executives seeking to specialise in charity insurance or experienced Commercial Account Handlers ready to take the next step in their career.
Initially, you’ll work five days a week in our Colchester office, with hybrid working available after probation for added flexibility. Free on-site parking is provided for a convenient commute, and you’ll be part of a supportive, growing team within the Jensten Group.
Key objectives & responsibilities:
· Managing an existing book of Charity clients
· Identifying and generating new business to help achieve organic growth
· Developing client relationships, understanding their insurance needs and providing a high level of service
· Attending client meetings, both on-site and off-site, to strengthen relationships and discuss tailored insurance solutions
· Representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities to build brand presence and identify new business prospects
· Completing renewals and answering a range of queries
· Processing insurance documents ensuring to be compliant with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations
About you
As an Account Executive, you’ll have gained experience in commercial broking. You’ll have the drive and motivation to achieve and exceed targets whilst delivering excellent service to your clients.
Other skills/requirements:
· Excellent Communication and networking skills
· Strong relationship building and team working skills
· The ability to use your initiative, multi-task and manage time sufficiently
