About the Role
Jensten, one of the UK’s fastest growing insurance brokers, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Regional Broking Manager to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the performance and development of our regional broking team, ensuring the highest standards of client service, retention, and growth across our commercial insurance portfolio. You’ll play a hands-on leadership role—coaching and supporting Brokers and Account Handlers, nurturing key client relationships, and driving new business opportunities in line with our long-term strategic goals.
Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, you’ll help shape our regional growth strategy, ensuring Jensten continues to deliver exceptional value and advice to our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Account Handlers and brokers, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and client excellence.
- Drive performance across retention, service delivery, and new business growth targets.
- Contributing to the regions income function by ensuring renewal retention and cross sell exceeds divisional targets.
- Oversee broking and placement activity to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with FCA and company standards.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, up-selling, and partnership development across the region.
- Support business planning and budgeting, providing insights into market trends and opportunities.
- Liaising with the broking and market management team to ensure the business placement strategy is met.
- Producing reports to ensure all customer inputs are completed.
About You
You’ll be an experienced insurance professional with a solid commercial broking background and a proven ability to lead, inspire, and grow high-performing teams. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and thrive in an environment where client care and professional integrity come first.
You’ll also bring:
- Strong track record in people management, preferably within commercial insurance broking.
- Leadership and revenue growth experience—motivating and developing Account Executives to deliver consistent results.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, growth-focused mindset.
- In-depth understanding of FCA compliance requirements.
- Experience using Acturis (desirable).
- A positive, collaborative and customer first approach
