Here at Basil Fry (part of the Jensten Group), we are looking for a client focussed Commercial Account Executive to join our forward thinking Commercial team.

Since the company was founded in 1970, Basil Fry has developed an in-depth knowledge of the removals and storage and self storage industries. During over fifty years of trading, our expertise has enabled us to create a broad range of specialist market leading insurance solutions, in-house claims teams and risk management services

Working in a team of approx. 20, and a wider office of 45, you will be based in our Modern Leatherhead office, which is in easy walking distance from the station and bus routes. Initially working full time in the office, a blend of office and home working will be available on completion of probation.

Key objectives & responsibilities:

• Looking after an existing book of business - delivering great customer service providing adequate insurance cover across the removals and storage and self storage industries
• Following up on new business leads and building and maintaining relationships with potential Commercial Clients
• Visiting Clients and providing a high level of customer service
• Attend industry events and meetings as a company representative, building relationships with existing and potential clients
• Discussing renewal terms and reaching retention targets
• Managing and maintaining your book of business and working closely with your Account Handler to ensure adequate and timely administration of policy details
• To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.

About you

To join us as a Commercial Account executive, you’ll need to have prior experience in a similar role and enjoy providing top client service and growing the business.

You will also have:

• Commercial Insurance experience
• Strong relationship building, communication and problem solving skills
• Have a passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, client meetings.
• Have CII Qualifications or a desire to work towards CII Qualifications
• A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Acturis experience (not essential)
